Scarlet's 4 Month Check-Up

Scarlet had her 4 month check-up. She is getting so BIG! She weighed 16 pounds and 4 ounces and was 26 inches long.

It doesn't take much to get her to flash her grin and dimples. She giggles and smiles and just about everything. Scarlet is active and loves to roll, she has been rolling over for at least 6 weeks now. She likes to bounce and stand. Her saucer is one of her favorite toys, although she still loves being "worn" in the moby wrap or bjourn.

The pictures above are from her first spoonfuls of rice cereal. She can't get enough of the cereal and often fusses between spoonfuls if we are not fast enough for her- I wonder how it will be when we start introducing fruits . Scarlet is a good sleeper, she is very scheduled with her morning and afternoon nap. At night, she is sleeping anywhere between a 6-10 hour stretch- just depending.. it keeps getting more and more consistent.

Adeline has proven to be a little protective over "My Baby Sarlet" these days. Just yesterday, Layla walked by Scarlet and Adeline bellowed, "No touch, Laylalala.. my baby Sarlet!" Too funny! Adeline is the best at making Scarlet giggle and smile. Adeline just has to look her way to get an ear to ear grin from Scarlet. As Scarlet becomes more mobile in the upcoming months it will be interesting to see how their relationship progresses when Scarlet is able to grab more toys and such. ;0)
