Mermaid Scales & Kitty Kisses

 Halloween 2012:
*Adeline knew from the beginning that she wanted to be a mermaid.  When she tried on her costume for the first time she informed me that she didn't need shoes because mermaids swim, dance, and jump in the water.
*Scarlet has been practicing her meow sounds for her kitty costume, although I think she may have missed her calling for being a ghost because she makes some good ghost sounds and had fun trying to scare people.  Maybe next year.
*We had a long and fun filled day of Halloween festivities today.  Adeline had a party this morning at preschool.  This afternoon Gaga Jody & Papa Mike had a Halloween pizza party and this evening Andy and I took the girls trick or treating.
*The girls loved trick or treating.  Ringing the door bell was definitely a novelty and by the 3rd house Scarlet was saying 'trick or treat' right alongside Adeline.
*And now... we all need to do some detox from all of the sugar.  ;)

Fall is Here!

Autumn is my absolute favorite season.. and it is finally here!  I love everything about Fall-  the weather, the food, and the holidays.  We had a lot of fun decorating this year.  The girls liked putting "creepy" cobwebs and spiders throughout the house.

Minnesota Weddings

We traveled to Minnesota over Labor Day weekend for Kelly's wedding (Andy's cousin).  Such a beautiful bride & groom and a perfect spot to be married, overlooking a lake.  The girls had a blast with farm animals, tractor rides, smores, and lots of dancing.  Adeline & Scarlet stayed with Susan & Keith an extra night while Andy and I met some college friends for Laura's wedding.  It was a fun filled weekend of weddings in Minnesota.

Adeline's First Day of School!

  Adeline is loving preschool.  She has Spanish & Art on the 2 mornings she attends and is meeting a lot of new friends and learning new songs.  She is very observant of the weather and the day of the week on the way to school, I think she wants to make sure she is ready for circle time.

Punta Cana

Andy and I had an amazing time in Punta Cana this August for my Arbonne Incentive Trip.  A special thanks to all of our family that helped with the girls while we were away.  We just had an absolute blast.  We met great, new friends and were treated like royalty from Arbonne.

The day started with a trip to the grocery store to get all of the ingredients to make cupcakes and dinner for Andy.  Of course, we couldn't resist getting balloons and a treat from Starbucks.  Happy Birthday to Andy!
