Quite a bit has happened since our last post. Adeline is now crawling all over the place and pulling herself to the standing position. She is definitely on the move! She often crawls over to the dogs and points at them saying, "d-, d-". Walking behind her little push cart has proven to provide hours of entertainment.
During the big January blizzard, Adeline and I stayed home while she was fighting a bit of a cold. She had her first ear infection, but luckily we were able to catch it early.
The snow is melting.. very slowly, but the forecast is predicting more for early in the morning. We are looking forward to spring and some sunshine! Even without the sunshine, Adeline continues to entertain us. One of her newest tricks is a courtesy laugh. When other people laugh or during moments of silence in a conversation, she will let out this dramatic laugh that is obviously fake. It is a riot- her timing is impeccable!
Adeline is growing so fast, I can't believe we will be celebrating her 1st birthday soon. At her check-up at 10 months, she weighed almost 25 pounds and was 31 and 1/2 inches tall. Now that she has seven teeth, she "brushes" her teeth at night. When I say "brushes", it is more like chewing on her toothbrush for a few minutes after her bath. She also had another haircut this month. She will probably be ready for another trim in a couple of months.

Christmas Party Time!
Andy came up with the title for this post. :) Andy and I are enjoying a quiet Christmas day with Adeline. It is quiet except for when Andy decides to shoot the target in the backyard. The snow is still coming down and blowing, many of the highways are closed and we are not planning to attempt to get out of our driveway anytime soon. Any dreams of a white Christmas have certainly come true. We are enjoying every moment of our first Christmas with Adeline. Stay warm and Merry Christmas, to everyone!

Oh, Christmas Tree!
Adeline loves looking at the lights on our Christmas tree, she has also recently discovered the presents underneath the tree. I have a couple extra days home with her this week due to the snow- which is extra fun! Adeline is now saying, "DaDa", "MaMa", "PaPa", and "baba" consistently. She has started clapping, which is just hilarious. We are looking forward to the upcoming festivities and would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I know I haven't been as good about updating our blog lately. Here is a quick little movie to make up for some lost time. The quality of the video isn't as high as some of the others. 6 Months Old!
Adeline turned 6 months old on September 17th. I can't believe she is half way to her first birthday. Adeline is growing so fast, at times I wish I could just press a pause button. We are having so much fun with her, she makes us laugh daily. Today we took her 6 month pictures. We have tons of pictures to crop and play with--I am waiting to transfer them to my computer, I only have a few of them so far. I will post some more later in the week as I get more of the pictures (compliments of our very own family photographer-- Jacque!). Thanks!
