The Dog Days of Summer

Four Generations

Adeline and I went with my Dad to visit Grandma Hughes today. Adeline also went on her first official "crop tour" on our way to Grandma's house.

Sunday Evening

Swimming with Luca!

Andy, Adeline, & I met Lauren & Luca at the pool tonight. Luca had fun in the pool, she even went down the waterslide all by herself. The evening ended with Adeline getting a bath, cuddling with Grandma Jody, & Luca catching a firefly in her hair. :)

Evening Swim

Adeline officially loves the water. The pool water is nice and warm now and she is loving it! She kicks her little feet in the water when she gets excited. Andy and I took her to the pool tonight, it was perfect because the sun was down and we didn't have to worry as much about her sensitive skin with the summer sun.

Adeline's Baptism

Adeline was baptized at St. Patrick's Church on the evening of June 20, 2009. We want to thank our family for celebrating with us!

Happy Birthday, Lacey!

Lacey came to visit us this past week. It was a short visit, but we always have such a fun time together. We had dinner in the Old Market and hung out at the pool for a couple hours the next day. Thanks for visiting Lacey and Happy Birthday!

A Couple New Toys

The Brinks are letting us borrow a couple new toys for Adeline to use. When she gets excited she kicks her feet quite a bit and both of these toys make noises when she kicks her feet.

First Word ;0)

Ava and Ryan were talking to Adeline this morning. Ava said, "Hi, Adeline" and Adeline babbled back to Ava. Ava's entire face lit up and with a huge smile and bright eyes she said, "Adeline said her first word.. she said HI!". It was the cutest thing ever, Ava was SO excited! Ryan just laughed and laughed. I didn't tell Ava any different. So today, Adeline said her first word to Ms. Ava Grace.
