Picnic at the Park

The night before the wedding, John's family was kind enough to invite all of us to a fun filled evening at the park with tons of fun games and hotdog syle vendors. Adeline loved swinging on the playground. It was great to see all of the Chaput sisters and their children!

More Sand?

Beautiful Beaches

On our trip to California, we were lucky enough to visit the beach multiple times. Each time, Adeline became more and more accustomed to the sand between her toes and the sounds of the ocean. But, not quite enough to run around on the beach. Next time we visit maybe she will be ready to be a little more adventurous.

Adeline's First Trip on an Airplane

On the first leg of the trip, we thought it was going to be a long couple flights. But, Adeline proved us wrong- she was a trooper. She did great on the remainder of the flights and even managed to entertain some of the other passengers along the way.

15 Months

Many of you have seen Adeline walking all over the place, but I thought I would post a short clip of Adeline walking around the house for those who haven't had a chance to see her. Of course- Layla is in close proximity... they both tend to take turns following each other around the house. That is, until Layla tires out after 20 minutes and gives up.

Adeline has started "hiding" in the bathtub after the water is drained and I tell her it is time to get out of the tub. I guess she isn't ready to dry off. :)

Another Trip to the Zoo

May Showers!

We have many great friends getting married and having babies this summer! In May, we were able to celebrate a bridal shower for Martha and baby showers for Megan & Michelle. Unfortunately, I wasn't very good about bringing my camera with me so I only have a couple pictures from Michelle & Jake's shower who are having twins in July! We will have a fun and busy July with Martha & John's wedding and welcoming Baby Orth and Twin Baby Cooks to the world- all boys!

Lake of the Ozarks

Andy & I went to the lake for the weekend with the Esterlings and Steeles while Keith and Susan watched Adeline in Wichita. We had a great time at the lake- thanks for having us Esterlings and thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Martin for watching Adeline. :)
