Pure Joy!
These are the little moments that it is all about! Scarlet and I went on a walk, just the two of us, and after about 10 minutes that I think she figured out that it really was just the two of us she kept looking up at me from the stroller every few seconds with this look of just pure joy.

Arbonne Never Looked So Good!
Outside Easter Egg Hunt
If there was to be a 'winner' during the Easter Egg hunt it would go to Scarlet by a landslide! She put on her blinders and was determined to find every egg while Adeline would find an egg sit on the step and enjoy every bite before hunting for more. It was pretty funny- Scarlet was even pointing at ones that were hidden in a tree branch or on the propane tank for us to get them for her.

The Easter Bunny Came!
Unexpected Bug
Well, we have been planning to spend Easter in Wichita for quite some time now but an unexpected stomach flu bug made its way into our house this weekend. Poor Adeline got really sick with the stomach flu on Friday. So we had to cancel our weekend in Wichita. We were all very disappointed. Everyone is feeling good today and we were still able to celebrate Easter with just our family. Luckily, the Easter Bunny didn't forget to stop by our house. We are enjoying a quiet day at home and the girls woke to an Easter egg hunt and cinnamon rolls.

Some Action Shots..
Here are a few "action" shots from Adeline's first soccer game. See the picture of Scarlet kicking the ball.... she played more than Adeline and Holden combined. Adeline and Holden wanted to eat snacks on the blanket (can you blame them). Adeline found a mud puddle and had a ball! I will say for game 2, Adeline and Holden both played a little more. It is just a little too much for them this year, but they do have fun and like to talk about playing soccer. Adeline loves to put on her shin guards at home and run around the yard, kicking her pink soccer ball. Dan, Andy, Kumari, and I will have many good laughs from this season and one very good lesson learned.... Wyatt and Scarlet will not be joining a soccer team when they are 3. ;)

Adeline's Soccer Team
Shh.. Baby!
This is a frequent scenario in our house. As we are playing, Adeline first puts "Baby Adeline" to sleep then she decides everyone should take a "nap". She keeps peeking over at Scarlet and finally demands, "Baby- close your eyes.. can't you see we are all sleeping!" No need to remind Ms. Layla, she loves this game! ;)

What a BEAUTIFUL Spring!
